For the majority of our PE curriculum, we follow the Complete PE scheme of work. Complete P.E. is an interactive online resource that enables both specialists and non-specialists to plan and implement high quality teaching within physical education.
- Gymnastics teaching is supplemented with units from Val Sabin Gymnastics.
- Dance is supplemented by units from our school’s traditional Maypole dancing; Country dancing as well as dancing from the 1930’s and 1940’s.
- Swimming is taught at our nearby Haltemprice leisure centre. Lessons provided by specialist trained staff from the Local Authority as well as our own school.
We offer many sports clubs each week, throughout the year. We have won awards for inspiring mass take up of physical exercise across the school. We encourage children of all abilities to engage in competitive sports. We also have a proud history of winning many local and regional competitions, across a range of sports and ages, for both boys and girls.
